It’’s not everyday you get to hear a wholesome story about SB19’s dedicated fandom, A’TIN, but when you do, it usually brings a smile to your face. Recently, the sibling of a member within the community lost their phone in the second floor bathroom of the Ayala Mall at Manila Bay. After asking for help from one of the prominent A’TIN communities, they got a response back that would reunite said phone with the A’TIN member.
While it was unsure what the owner was doing at that time, what we know for certain was that, at one point, the owner must have left their phone in one of the comfort rooms. Unknowingly left it, and couldn’t find it. It had the owner’s report and thesis in the phone according to the A’TIN member.
After they asked for help from fellow their fellow A’TIN members, a post would make its rounds within the community. Someone found a phone and took photos of it and tagged the member in the post as they asked if it was indeed their sibling’s phone.
Another member brings the owner’s attention to the post and after confirming, they answered that it was indeed the correct phone. They have confirmed it with the person who found the phone, thanking them profusely.
If it weren’t for the innate honesty of the fellow A’TIN member, they wouldn’t be able to be reunited with the missing phone. Most phones would go missing once it is misplaced in a busy commercial area, let alone a public bathroom. Thankfully for this A’TIN member, someone kind-hearted found it first.
Of course, in order to reclaim the phone, they would also need proof that they are the rightful owner of the phone and luckily for them, the sibling placed a finger print security measure on their phone. Once their sibling unlocks the phone, it is the instant sign that the phone is theirs.
Closing thoughts
With so much negativity in the world, we need some positivity and wholesome stories like this to brighten our days. This proves that genuinely honest and kind people still exist in the world, and lucky for us, those individuals can be found within the A’TIN community as they keep to heart SB19’s values.
We are sure that if the Mahalima were to hear about this (and they most likely will), they would be so proud of everyone for the values they displayed. We need more individuals like this who embody what’s good in the world and ask nothing in return.
