SB19 Tackle The Spartan Race In Obstacle Central For Showbreak Season 6 Episode 4

Did you know that aside from SB19 being P-pop kings and megastars, they are also goofy, entertaining individuals with their own variety show? Our boys Josh, Justin, Ken, Stell, and Pablo show their funnier, light-hearted, and wildly energetic sides in their latest episode of Showbreak Season 6.

The boys prove that to be able to do what they do on stage, they must first be able to tackle physical and mental challenges. What better way to do so than showcasing their skills in the Spartan Race at Obstacle Central.

Keys to victory

The boys have to overcome a series of challenges named the Spartan Race: an obstacle course with 8 challenges inspired from the show “American Ninja Warrior.” The two of the fastest members get to go head-to-head against one another for a chance to win some heard-earned pampering from Strokes Nail Spa and Wellness Studio. There are some twists to the challenges, however, as there would be not one, but two secret videos that give A’TIN something to look forward to.

Josh is secretly tasked to overcome all odds in order to let everyone get the prize of having a spa day. Can he do it? Let’s find out!

Amidst tackling the course, SB19 cracks jokes amongst one another much to the delight of the fans as they share their humorous side. After selecting who would go first to last, the challenge officially begins.

SB19 are built for the challenge

The boys took turns running the gauntlet: Justin being the first followed by Josh, Stell, Ken, and Pablo. Some of the highlights of their performances stood out, some of them were:

Justin, despite having great difficulty during the rope climbing section, powered through the course, setting the pace for the boys.

With a strong showing, Josh blazed a path of domination, giving a good challenge for Stell, Ken, and Pablo.

Stell showed a promising start, but after some slight difficulty with the wall climb, he showed heart and pushed through with great determination.

Ken was hot on the heels of Josh’s dominating time and would evidently become one of the fastest times.

Pablo was the last to take the challenge and showed his best efforts as he lay exhausted on the mat.

The results were in and the final two participants will be Josh and Ken.

A showdown for the ages (and A’TIN)

Before the second half of the race where both Josh and Ken would participate, Ken, Justin, Stell, and Pablo were pulled aside for another secret video. This time, it included another twist to the challenge.

The boys were tasked for any of them to win. If they could beat Josh, then all of SB19 will be rewarded. It is similar to the earlier challenge given to Josh, so if there is anyone keeping score, this basically shows that whoever wins, they all win in the end. The catch is, they can do anything they have to in order to win, including sabotage. Would they really do so?

The race begins with Ken going first. He ran through the challenge effortlessly as he ran through the modified version of the Spartan Challenge that was harder as it included two new obstacles and finished with the rope climb. Up next was Josh who would also run through the gauntlet with nearly identical speed and time. It all came down to the judges.

And your winner is…

By the end of the episode, it is revealed that the winner by unanimous decision is none other than Ken who completed the obstacle race in 47 seconds, beating Josh who ran the course in 55 seconds.

Ken gives a speech on how he always wanted to run an obstacle course like “American Ninja Warrior” and this was one of his favorites. Josh would then be humble and say how everyone on the team did their best and at the end of the day, everyone is a winner. He, though, felt disappointed because he couldn’t complete his secret mission. Luckily for him, because of the other boys succeeding, either way, they all get their hard-earned reward of relaxation.

Closing thoughts

This episode of Showbreak showed the team’s athletic side, as well as their brotherly bond and camaraderie. Even if the other boys had the option to try and sabotage, they never opted to do so and instead chose to support Josh the same way as Ken.

A’TIN would applaud their efforts and then be rewarded by the group as they stated in the video that lucky fans could earn passes to Obstacle Central and the Spartan Race. You heard them, folks, if you want to try to take on the very same challenge our boys did, head to their Showbreak episode, go to their comments section, and show your support.
