SB19’s Devoted A’TIN: The Wholesome And Loyal Fanbase That Cares

We always give praise to SB19 and rightfully so. Their passion to make P-pop more well-known all over the world speaks volumes, as their efforts have inspired many others to do so. Other than this, the group has always taken care of their fans they named “A’TIN,” as they always keep them in mind.

Ken, known for his grounded personality, always reminds A’TIN to be mindful of their online actions and respectful to one another, so the community can become a healthier, safer, and more peaceful space for both fans and artists alike. The only true way to support the group is not just by uplifting them, but by spreading good values and embodying them. Because of this, A’TIN has gone to great lengths to be cooperative with one another to raise each other up. They make great efforts to share SB19’s journey to newcomers and long-time fans alike as they enter the fold.

Fan-created resources and guides for newcomers

There have been many sources of information that A’TIN has prepared to support SB19, as it is an open secret that the fans are the driving force behind the boys. It is because of the love and dedication of the fans that the majority of people come to know SB19, their hard work, drive, and passion for their craft, as well as their high-production spectacles. Aside from this, however, A’TIN has also offered other types of guides and resources. These examples are:

Fans would often share logistics and safety tips for upcoming SB19 concerts. This is similar to the TripZilla article that compiled tips during SB19’s May 31 “Simula at Wakas” tour.  They would often contain routes with little traffic, what items to bring during concerts, good places to stay during the concert dates, etc.

Streaming guides

A’TIN groups usually produce guides on how to stream SB19 songs to help the songs trend online. These are usually step-by-step instructions on how to stream SB19’s songs and videos properly on either YouTube or Spotify. The guides are shared to other A’TIN worldwide to avoid common mistakes in streaming their songs and to maximize view counts.

In order to help SB19 connect with their foreign fans abroad, dedicated A’TIN help to translate not just the group’s songs. They also translate other resources like their interviews, subtitles, and many more. Thanks to their efforts, A’TIN ensures that the Filipino-language reaches a global audience as they will be able to understand the flavorful language of the Philippines and understand the message that SB19 is conveying.

A’TIN creating a wholesome, supportive community and safe spaces

Other than creating resources, guides, and freebies for their fellow A’TIN, the fanbase has shown their efforts in cultivating awareness and inclusivity for people. Their chapters often create communities and programs to help individuals. Some notable ones are:

Just like how SB19 welcomed A’TIN, the fans do so for everyone, no matter your background and how you began your journey with the boys’ music. A’TIN is intent on creating safe spaces for everyone, making them feel like they belong. Projects like “A’TIN Zone” allows inclusivity through events, discussions, and fan-led projects that celebrate SB19’s achievements with one another.

Their mission has always been the same: empower fans while creating a safe haven for new supporters. The fan sites aren’t just paying homage to their mahalima but are building wonderful, tight-knit communities around the world with the feeling of belonging.

One of the online communities that has been very welcoming since we joined the fandom is A’tin Official Group. We would like to extend our thanks to them for their tireless efforts and for ensuring their group is a safe space for every A’tin who wants to express their love for Mahalima.

Many fans who have forged friendships together have proven to be a life-changing and positive ordeal. There have been testimonials indicating that being part of the A’TIN community has a positive impact on a person’s mental health. This was particularly evident during the pandemic era, when times were extremely challenging for everyone.

Fans would lean on each other for encouragement, having late-night talks and even daily check-ins. It is a reminder that A’TIN is more than just about SB19’s music, as it has fostered camaraderie and genuine trust. In an article from Republic Asia Media, one fan shared this about the community:

“More than the core friends that I have, the whole A’TIN community talaga is really helpful sa mental health ko. It feels like you have a place na you belong. – Julienne Zabala, Republic Asia Media, November 8, 2024”

A’TIN’s true support does not just stop online. Across the Philippines and even extending abroad, A’TIN would organize meetups, projects, and bonding activities with their fellow fans in order to welcome one another. Whether these were casual hangouts or pre-concert events, A’TIN takes to heart SB19’s message of unity as it forges real friendships that span beyond the digital world. In the same article from Republic Asia Media, one fan recalls meeting their friends online and eventually travelling together after picking someone up from the airport. The fan would say this:

“After years of just talking online, I found myself picking a friend up from the airport or traveling to Baguio to spend a few days with them. Those trips were spontaneous. SB19 brought us together, but it’s our connection that keeps us close. – Louise, Republic Asia Media, November 8, 2024

A’TIN delves into creativity and charity initiatives

When it comes to A’TIN, creativity and compassion often go hand in hand. Fans don’t just celebrate SB19 with art, music, and projects—they also find ways to turn those efforts into something that benefits others. Over the years, countless initiatives have proven how generous and resourceful this fandom can be.

In July 2025, Justin’s official fan club, JLeague, came together to put together “Bunga ng Mga Hiraya: An Art Exhibit.” It was an event that showcased fan-made pieces inspired by the theme of growth and imagination. It had a small registration fee that went to a good cause. The proceeds were donated to Malabon Zoo, Justin’s chosen beneficiary, with other artists also contributing.

Charity drives are a big part of how A’TIN celebrates milestones. For SB19’s third anniversary in 2021, A’TIN Philippines raised over ₱121,000 for WWF-Philippines. Fans also honor birthdays through giving like A’TIN Aklan’s feeding program for the elderly on Ken’s 26th, or SB19 Ken Updates raising ₱20,562 for the Philippine Eagle Foundation. Beyond these larger efforts, local groups regularly organize food and school-supply drives for communities in need, reflecting the Filipino spirit of bayanihan through initiatives such as food drives and school-supply donations for underserved communities. These efforts keep alive the Filipino tradition of bayanihan, or helping one another.

In another instance, Josh made headlines when he collaborated with Reach Out and Feed Philippines Inc., which was held at San Pablo Apostol Parish in Tondo, Manila. Sony Music Entertainment Philippines’ outreach initiative was part of their “Season of Giving” campaign, which contributed to addressing health challenges and environmental issues in poor communities across the country. While Josh’s outreach was led by Sony Music and Reach Out and Feed Philippines, A’TIN widely amplified and celebrated the initiative online.

In times of great distress, we all come together for a good cause. In one instance, both SB19 and another popular P-pop group, BINI, alongside a rising K-pop girl group, UNIS, came together to bring aid to the Philippines when it struggled against Typhoon Kristine in October 2024. Both P-pop groups provided aid in their own way, as SB19 held a donation drive at the Araneta Coliseum from October 26 to 27. Proud A’TIN immediately spread the word and even desired to help out as fans provided support and donated to the wonderful initiative.

Tree planting projects

A’TIN members are fond of tree planting projects, some of which fall on the birthdays of SB19 members. On July 14, 2022, Justin and members of A’TIN planted Narra saplings at Masungi Georeserve’s Legacy Trail and made a P60,000 donation, as evidenced by a large check with the said amount, addressed to the reserve.

A year later, on September 10, 2023, during one of Pablo’s birthdays, a group of A’TIN gathered together for “Planting P:Lairs.” Their mission was to plant 300 Almon Lauan, also known as Shorea Almon, at the Mini Watershed Rehabilitation in Davao. It is a critically endangered tree found in the Philippines and Borneo due to over-harvesting and illegal logging.

Giveaway projects

A’TIN always finds a way to turn positivity into an even more wholesome act of generosity. Some fans would create “fan kits” where proceeds would be directed to non-profits, spreading kindness and happiness in the name of goodwill. One instance in particular came from a Felix / Ken fan known as Moonriver on Twitter/X who hosted a themed giveaway during the release of a “Ache,” a single from Felix’s “7 Sins” album. The wholesome part was when they donated the prize money to two charities: “Save the Children” and “Global Giving Animal Rescue Projects.”

Closing Thoughts

A’TIN carries with them SB19’s dream of uniting fans in celebrating P-pop, but through the fans’ actions, we begin to celebrate something truly remarkable: the spirit of unity and togetherness. All the examples, whether they involve sharing concert tips, streaming guides, mental health support, charity drives, or other initiatives, demonstrate how A’TIN stands out as a wholesome, community-driven fandom that supports one another.

Whether online or offline, whether in the Philippines or abroad, A’TIN will always emphasize positivity, inclusion, and giving back to the community. SB19 would be very proud of their fan base and the good that they do for one another. There are numerous instances where SB19 and A’TIN come together to help people, some of which have not received any media coverage and thus have very little information shared beyond word of mouth. Despite this, the core message has always been the same: we, as A’TIN, stand strong together, not just as a group of like-minded individuals coming together to support SB19, but to support our fellow men and lift them up.

We at SB19 News appreciate all the effort that the fandom and other subgroups put into the good they do, spreading SB19’s message, and the group’s advocacies. We look forward to hearing more about A’TIN’s good deeds and their future team-ups with the boys, and are ready to signal-boost their efforts. We dedicate SB19’s song, “Ilaw,” to all of you.
