School Donation For Josh’s Birthday The A’TIN Way

SB19 recently celebrated their groupmate Josh Cullen’s 32nd birthday to many cheers and laughs. While the boys were able to spend some time bonding with their close friend, they weren’t the only ones who celebrated his birthday.

A’TIN from various chapters would celebrate his birthday by continuing a charitable event that was started since its very inception: giving to charity. A’TIN chapters around the world joined hands to donate musical instruments and equipment to a school impacted by earthquakes.

From celebration to an act of kindness and love

Fans of SB19 often say “A’TIN” means “ours” and this initiative lived up to that. Instead of the usual cake and shout-outs, A’TIN aligned the birthday celebration with a good cause. The school, Sta. Fe National High School in Bantayan Island, Cebu, received instruments and gear so that students interested in music could be better equipped despite hardships.

The musical instruments given to the school would allow the children to continue singing, playing, and chase their dreams. Many posts from fan chapters referenced Josh’s birthday as the motivator for the donation drive, turning joy into a meaningful act of service. This, however, would not be the first time that A’TIN have done charitable acts during his birthday as we have an article that featured this that you can read about here.

What They Donated & Why It’s So Important

According to the YouTube video by United A’TIN of Emirates:

“We celebrate one of the five who inspire us to live with purpose, compassion, and resilience. As our promise, will continue to spread their music and their love for music by bringing musical instruments to students who need them the most, mula Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao.”

The kindhearted United A’TIN members joined forces with BBQUAE, the official fanbase of Josh Cullen in the UAE, in donating musical instruments like guitars, keyboards, and sound-equipment and was received by the appreciative school administration. The school was damaged by the recent earthquake that tore through the area, but despite this, they continue to provide aid for others.

The school receiving donations from A’TIN is a heartwarming gesture that shows the kindness that has been cultivated by SB19 and the fans themselves as they prove how they truly care for their fellowman and that the group’s words have been ingrained into its fans. What’s especially uplifting is that this act wasn’t limited to one city or chapter. International A’TIN communities joined in, locals in the Philippines and abroad mobilized, and fans quietly but powerfully executed the drive.

What This Means for SB19 & A’TIN

SB19 has always emphasized the importance of being humble, taking care of one another, and showing respect. When fans mirror those values and turn celebrations into service, it reflects greatly on everyone and elevates the narrative. Instead of being just passive supporters of the group, A’TIN become active changemakers that in turn inspire others to do the same thing.

The songs of the group become powerful anthems that motivate others to join in a positive mindset and help one another. The good that A’TIN does now will build futures for the next generation.

Closing thoughts

The actions of A’TIN in celebrating one of SB19’s members shows the more wholesome side of the community and how much they are willing to give back. While it may seem like a generous gift from A’TIN to the children, to them, it is an eye opener that speaks volumes. It says to those kids that people matter and that we should come together to help one another.

A big shout-out to every A’TIN who organized, donated, transported, photographed and cheered this project into existence. This is why A’TIN is what it is today: their willingness to step up just like how SB19 do on the world stage to show the spirit of the Filipino people as they promote the culture, its music, its art, and most of all, their values. Continue to shine brightly, A’TIN and show the world why the fandom is at the top!
