If you’re looking to support SB19 on Japan’s music charts, here’s how you can cast your vote using the USEN “Oshi-katsu Request” system even if you don’t read Japanese. It’s quick, free, and effective when done correctly.
USEN’s “Oshi-katsu Request” is a public music-request service where fans can directly help their favorite artists by casting requests. These votes contribute to ranking lists and broader awards-recognition in Japan. For SB19, participating in this system means boosting their visibility in a key international market.
Head to the official site:https://usen.oshireq.com.Even if it appears in Japanese, you’re in the right place. If the page is in Japanese, open it in Google Chrome and tap the “Translate” icon (or from the three-dot menu select “Translate…”). This will convert the interface into English and make navigation easier. On mobile, it will prompt whether you want to translate the website into English.
Click on the button below that says “My Page.” You will be asked to register a new account. You can either use your existing account/s on Google or sign up with your Email address. After registering and signing in, you will be asked to create a username, gender, and birthdate.
After tapping the button, you may be prompted to select a number of votes (for example “24”). Choose the number allowed (check the site’s current limit) and confirm. Click the button that says “I recommend this song!”
You’ll typically see a message like リクエスト完了しました (“Request completed”). You can take an optional action and click the third icon next to the X and LINE icons to copy the link provided so you can paste it to your social media or share it to various fansites of SB19. Either way, you have completed voting.
Key reminders while voting
You can vote once per day (or as per current limits) from each account. Some sources indicate up to 24 requests per day.
Use Chrome’s (or other web browser’s) translate feature so you don’t get confused by the Japanese interface.
Make sure you’re on the official USEN voting site to avoid invalid votes.
After voting, feel free to share a screenshot in your fan group or on social media to encourage fellow A’TIN to join in.
Closing thoughts
Every vote you cast brings SB19 one step closer to ranking higher on USEN, gaining airplay, and earning recognition in Japan’s music scene. The more requests they receive, the more airplay they get as Japan is given the opportunity to listen to the P-pop Kings.
